Message: Why yes. Those are for connections to the PCM.
The allow the PCM to know approximately what angle the throttle plate is open, thereby giving an input to the air/fuel mixture computations.

Message: thx...i need to know which wire is the 5v data wire. i'm trying to test out that sensor along with every other sensor connected to the pcm. i seem to have a short or a bad sensor feeding the pcm and i'm getting a "no bus" message on my instrament cluster.

Message: No bus error means the PCM is not able to communicate with the instrument cluster.
Check that the connectors to the cluster are seated properly.

Message: center wire is signal back to the pcm. should be around .45-.7x vdc at closed throttle.

Message: AJ look on the left side of your engine for the cam sensor if you are looking at it straight ahead it will be right under the head towards the first coil. its the only sensor there and you will need a 10mm socket to get it out.

Message: The TPS is a simple rheostat - a resistor with a moveable center-tap.
Pin 1 is +5vdc from PCM (that's one end of the resistor)
Pin 2 is voltage pickoff from the resistor. The voltage will vary depending upon throttle plate position (that's the center-tap).
Pin 3 is GROUND from the PCM (that's the other end of the resistor).
On the 4.7L engine:
Wire to Pin 1 is Orange - 18gage
Wire to Pin 2 is Brown with Orange stripe - 20gage
Wire to Pin 3 is Black with Light Blue stripe - 18gage
Note: The gound to the PCM from Pin 3 is shared with the MAP Sensor, which has its own +5vdc power source from the PCM.
