 Subject: Intermediate steering shaft!

I just got back from a mechanic and they said i had to have my intermediate steering shaft replaced. Of course, it's a dealer part so have to wait a day to get it done! One of the rubber boots on the steering box end of the shaft is loose or coming out making play in the steering wheel. Parts and an hours labor....$315.00! None of my recent repairs have been cheap! Thanks to the person who said that the problem was the intermediate steering shaft!
