I am sure that the headers are going to have to be one-off custom made. Sorry.

Shoe is right. those will have to be custom fabbed. there are header kits available on the web that allow to to custom fab them yourself.

i'm not familiar with forced induction. i would think you'd have that all figured out already since you purchased parts. Graphite and his brother in law have some experience with this. they blew up his 318.

On stock internals you can go 6psi on a 3.9L. I would say 6psi for the V8 also because it is the same motor w/ teo extra cylinders. This is what I have heard from a couple others. Good luck man!

when i had my 318 w/turbo stock head gaskets like over12psi,i strongly suggest to go with a good head gasket before you try to up the boost.7psi felt really good on my truck

heads/gaskets to handle it.

x2. rammer what kinda fuel system did you use? if t was stock i might just buy a turbo and fab somthin up for like 5-6 psi.

also your rockers you sold me blew my motor lol... it was my fault though. i had a higher lift cam than expected

Remeber guys, you want a turbo with a .70-.90 A/R turbine.

Don't make the mistake I did and buy one thats a 1.15 A/R.

That thing is big enough to boost a 600 cu in engine and won't spool up on my 4.7 till I hit like 4000 RPM.

Anyone want to turbo their R/V?

you need to install an zenor diode and resistor on map sensor wires so computor wont freek out. fuel system isnt stock,using an rising rate fuel pressure reg,24lb injectors,with an booster pump. with my old set up i have an 2 bar map(wasnt operating correctly) 39lb injectors(wasnt correct size for what i was doing)and the regulator,truck didnt want to idle right but ran great at wot

hey 1hotkadota you get anything finished on your set up yet. if you want to sell and buy a turbo look at craigslist/phx.com or call to arizona tractor turbo,talk to joel and tell him you want an borgewarner t-04. they were $400 when i got mine.then down size the hot section to .82 should work great,or he might be able to trade or something

Do you think he could just change out the turbine housing to a smaller one? I've heard of them being interchangeable but I'm not sure if the A/R size is.

Yeah I definitely want a t-04 because everything I have is set up for one.

I'll check craigslist and maybe post mine up there for sale too.

I have everything except my oil lines and fittings, (I just found my oil pressure sending unit on Friday), a wastegate, a wide band O2 sensor, rising rate regulator, fuel pump, and zenor diode and resistor from Frye's electronics.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the friggin turbo.

You guys think I should put that 1.15 on there just for schnitz giggles?

The absolute pressure your running depends on what your altitude is. If you run 6 psi here in phoenix its around 19 psi because atmospheric pressure here is only about 13.5 compared to about 14 at sea level.

so technically everyone is running about 12-14 psi without a turbo depending on your elevation.
