Getting Code 12 and 27 on fault codes.
12=memory standby power lost
27=Injector output circuit not responding
How do I fix above codes?
Other symptoms on cold start it goes into a LIMP mode and check Eng lite goes on. One or two cylinders not firing. When engine heats up and I restart the problem goes away. It has SBEC II computer. Can this be the O2 sensor? I't has 4-wires with heater. I'm thinking heater on O2 is defective. But after 1st warm up the problem goes away and won't come back till sitting overnight.
160K miles now. Last Smog Test was 11K ago and all levels of CO, NOx, HC was extra low. I had just put in a new CAT, O2 sensor, EGR valve & TPS.
I also noticed a loss of coolant in the reservoir. Nothing in oil or ground, can't figure out where its going.
I need to pass SMOG TEST next month.

i got the same same set of codes but that means the injector isn't firing. 12 really doesn't mean much other than the battery was disconncted. 27 on the other hand is bad check the injector wiring and all engine grounds. if those are still good, i think its a new pcm. Mine would die and #7 injector wasn't firing. I had to replace my pcm. $248 from mopar

Don't fault codes come from ecm?
so if it's a bad ecm how do you verify?

When my pcm went i could still pull codes, but it couldn't run the truck hardley, for a long time before that it would have an injector not firing. Then it started dieing on me and i finally figured a bad pcm. it wouldn't run the truck but i could still pull codes.
