Message: To all: I do have a Dakota 2001 Ext. Cab. The rear dor window is not operating. I did open the panel finding a broken plastic piece. This piece act as a guide to the cable and is attach to a support frame at the bottom of the door. I replace the part but I think the motor is gone. How difficult is to replace the motor for the Rear Door Window? Anyone can help my with this matter? Thank you very much

Message: I've taken my drivers door power window out several times to fix it.
It is a simple push-pull cable system. the motor comes off with three screws leaving the rest of the cable system in tact.
Should be easy.

There's a picture I took of the motor when I had it apart the first time.
