Message: Hmmmmm must still be 1950, BECAUSE my 2001 Dakota Owners Manual specifically states change oil and filter every 3000 miles! On schedule B - which is really what %95+ people fall under!
Engines run cleaner now days??? Where did that fact come from - the tailpipe?? Now here is a fact - engines run HOTTER now days and that is harder on the oil.
Synthetics will help on the change interval though :)
