Message: Call Dodge to see if you can still order them. If not I think that Sam from www.socaldakota.com still handles them.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer. well at least a stock one

Message: oemdodgeparts.com
HO Camshafts:
Left (2002-2004): P/N 53021411AB
(superseded by P/N 53021411AC. MSRP: $146.00)
Right (2002-2004): P/N 53021412AB
(superseded P/N 53021412AC. MSRP: $146.00)
I just ordered a set, $216 shipped, but think the price has gone up $10/cam for the new superseded "AD" P/N. They also have a 5% off coupon code on their front page, I think it was "NEW".

Message: I know that KRC does not offer the HO anymore, but the 206s and 212s would do excellent.

Message: oemdodgeparts.com might show the AC cams on the website, but they called me last week and said they were superseded to the AD cams. I ordered the $101 AC cams and they said I was getting the $110 AD cams. Shipping was kind of high at $26, but with the 5% discount it wasn't too bad.

Message: I just received the HO cams from oemdodgeparts.com and each AD cams was $112+change. One of the cams had a MFG date of 3-07 and the other 6-07, looks like they are a pretty new revision.

Message: I believe that all of the '00s had a wimpy 65MM throttle body. The '01s and up went to a 68MM throttle body. I would try to invest in a true 70MM throttle body.

Message: It is definitely not true that 68mm TB comes with the tow package. '00 got 65 mm; later years got 68mm. My '00 with factory tow package came with the 65mm TB; so where ever you got that info - it's false.

Message: The story used to go like this: they added emissions, ususally a third cat etc. and went to a 68mm TB in 2001 from a 65mm TB.
I have a 2001, and dremmelled (sp?) out my 68mm TB on my 2001 dak.
Although I have excellent dyno #'s, a before and after was not done with just the porting of the 68mm TB, so who knows objectively what it really did.

Message: No, that isn't the story either. My '00 has the 3 cat cali emissions package, came with a 65mm TB.
'00 Dakotas have 65 mm TBs; all others have 68mm TBs.
It's just that simple. End of story. ;-)
