Anyone have any experience with shorty headers? im thinking of getting some edelbrock ceramic coated shorty headers for my 91 silverado w/ the 5.0l? what i really want is the exhaulst louder I replaced my cat with a straight pipe and I have the original 40 series flowmaster 3'inlet duel 2.5' outlet and its quiet at idol?

you mean idle, not idol. We understand why you want to make your truck louder - so your 5.0 chevy will sound like it has the power it will never really have. That's one dog of a motor. Just get a Dodge.

im with everybody on the get a dodge part becuase all the chevy guys want to do the same thing and they get that really crappy raspy sounding exhaust. but headers will help a little. what you need is a different mufler.

I do have a dodge thats wy im postn here, I have a 04 ram 3500 turbo diesal this chevy truck is just to drive around in its alot better than my old 3.9l dakota
