Subject: M 1 Question IP: Logged
Message: I have a 03' CC R/T .... I really don't many mods .. all I have is a K&N FIPK, MSD 6A with 8.5 wires,Brass cap, I have a 2bbl M1 collecting dust on my garage floor and I'm wondering if it would be worth installing it on my engine without more mods first ... would I gain HP and TQ or loose it ?

Message: As far as I have read you will lose low end torque, but have substantial high-end gains.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer. well at least a stock one

Message: you will lose very little torque. Butaround 3500rpm you can really feel horsepower kick in to about 5500rpm. its definatly worth the swap. then i got all the other bolt ons that compliment it.
