I just put a fiberglass hod on my truck. I have the stock one sitting in my garage.
It is silver, but has some of the top coat coming off, so it needs paint anyways. I have not looked at it real closely for dents, but it is very clean, and straight.

I have a black99dak. I am in the market for a hood myself. Are you needing stock or aftermtk? I am willing to sell. It is stock and needs painting. Has no dings/dents. It is straight, hinges are good. I am not sure what other info you need. I would like to keep my grille, however, we can work something out on it as well if you need that also. I am looking to buy the Cervini's setup anyway.

This is not an opportunity to get into a chatting match with you, YO. The hood mentioned (by crow318) that needed repainting was silver. As you may or should know, it is much easier to paint something (in this case, the hood) the same original color than it is a different color. You do not notice, as easily, the mistakes...if there are any. As QS(only)stated on 7/19/2007 @

Yes I have. I am still trying to decide if that is the route I want to go or if the ram air is the ticket. Even though I am not wanting the RAH to be functional at this time, I definitely like the aggressive design of Cervini's-single and dual. However, I do not mind going with the reflexxion hood if they fit properly. I still have a little more research on that to do.

I would have stuck with a regular hood if the accident hadn't
destroyed the original one...the Reflexxion looked great and I
thought a steel hood is preferable over a fiberglass, but I am sure
some of you would disagree.
Are there any issues with the fit of a Reflexxion hood?
Also, do you know if the emblem can be taken off the original hood
? What about the insulation? Does that come off pretty easy?

The reflexxion hoods actually fit quite well. I put on on my dakot and it looks nice. If anyone wants to see it email me and I'll send you a picture of it. The body lines are actually better than the stock hood. I ordered mine from www.orderkeystone.com. though our collision center. thanks
