Message: this sounds alot like the 115 splice. do a search (mark.dodgedakotas.com) or on google and you'll find info on the splice.
i'm not sure what years this splice affects. I know many of has have been hit with it.

Message: Thanks for that, we finally realized it was the PCM. But now we're having problems starting it. We got it started by connecting a wire from the bottom of the fuse box to the battery. And that just won't do. Does anybody have any suggestions on what the problem could be? Please Please Please!

Message: the #115 wire splice
located behind the under hood fuse box
drivers side inner fender well
remove the box
unwrap tape from the wire harness
your looking for 3 or 4 wires {usually red and white} that are spliced together
they get all cruded up
some times even snap
cut the splice out
re-do it and tape everything back up
