 Subject: Power Steering Pressure Switch

Can anyone tell me where the Power Steering Pressure Switch is located on a 2000 Dodge Dakota, 4.7L V8????
Is it on the pump or on the rack somewhere? I was just going to buy one and replace it myself since it looks like a simple screw in switch but I'd like to located the darn thing first.

whats wrong with the power steering? i think its on the pump though. dont quote me. ill try to get some reserch on th it though.

Look on the power steering line, drivers side engine compartment. You will see a 2 wire connector which pops off and you will see the switch.
Replaced mine on my 2000 4.7 liter a few years ago. Was pretty easy to replace, just unscrews. Put a little teflon tape on threads of new switch and install.
