Subject: R/T in a standard transmission?

Message:
Has anyone ever purchased a Gen II (97-04) Dakota R/T from the dealership with a Standard 5 speed transmission? I am under the impression that they are only available in automatic?

Thanks.

They only came in automatic forms, but you could buy a 5-speed or 6-speed conversion from keisler automotive group.

Thanks for the info, I was never really sure, because I thought I had seen a few r/t's with standard transmissions. The must have been custom then.

They were more likely FAKE R/T badges on another model.

At least in the Phoenix Arizona area that is usually the case. Because I KNOW they didn't sell no 3.9 V6 R/T's but there are tons of them around here LOL!!!!

that or someone had one put in. But seeing your post raises another question. 1997-2003 Dakota; Gen 2 or 3??
