 Subject: 2004, 4.7L, V8 Dakota QC "P0456" Code

The truck was driven for about 5hrs. straight then parked for a few days without the engine light on. Then when I started the truck up, there was check engine light. I have received an error code of P0456.
Is this the gas cap issue/sensor?

my '03 did the same thing earlier this week. I retightened my gas cap, disconnected the battery then reconnected and my "check engine light" went out.

Could also be a leak in the hose leading to or from the fuel EVAP vacuum. Located near the front right of the engine. A small crack in a eroded rubber hose can cause the same engine code.
