I disconnected the battery for 30 seconds and reset the computer. Started the truck and drove it for about 35 miles without any problems. Then as I exited the freeway it died. Started right back up and went about 60 feet and died again. after a couple minutes it started up again and drove a couple of blocks to the home depot. I was inside for about 45 minutes, when I came out and headed off to the jobsite and the damn thing died after about a 1/4 mile. Remembering that it idles fine and doesnt die out in drive with my foot on the brake i decided to try and trick the computer by setting the emergency brake slightly until the brake light came on. after i did this I had no problem driving it so far and I have put over 100 miles on it with the emergency brake light on. I will need to find out what the problem is but unil then I found a band aid that stops the auto shutdown from happening. Anybody have any thoughts about what might be going on here? I was unable to locate the factory splice mentioned and since I figured out the brake trick I stopped looking. How long before the computer figures me out?

See my reply to your other post. I included some links and translations for the codes you got. Still looks like #115 splice to me. more info in the post about it.
