Where do I find the thermostat on my 2001 V-8 ? My engine has been running a little warmer than usual and I wanted to try changing that first. Thanks.

I am pretty sure that it is on the passenger side at the bottom of the motor. Remove the plastic splash guard and you will see it.

Maybe not a 5-speed, but an automatic will work.

unless you've got the 5.9. then it will be in the intake manifold at the end of the upper radiator hose.

HUH??!!??!! Do you not mean unless you got the 4.7? Because as far as I know all the 2.5s, 3.9s, 5.2s, and 5.9s are on the intake manifold. The 4.7 is located at the bottom of the motor.

Get a fvcken repair manual. If you don't have enough sense to have one of these you shouldn't be working on your truck. Have someone else do it.
