 Subject: underdrive pulleys?

I was wondering if anyone has used underdrive pulleys, and what brand you used.
I had ASP pulleys on my dakota, but they slowed down the accesories and the battery would drop down. wanted to know of any other brands that wouldnt slow the accesories. thanks.

They all slow down the accesories ,thats how thy work! A crank only will be very streetable , and charge the batt at idle with the lights off. If you drive in bumper to bumper trafic and run a electrc fan , big stereo amp, fog lights you may have a problem.I have a ASP crank only and I love it.

ASP also makes a set of pulleys that won't slow down your alt. I forget what they call the but the is a performance set and the other set.

I also purchased the ASP underdrive pulleys. They are horse $hi+. My V8 would not even stay running at stop lights. It slowed everything down way to much. Also my truck had absolutely no gain on my q/m time. I sent them back to ASP and received a full refund! If anyone else has problems, write "ATTN: Lee 5154" on the box and make a note saying Candace approved the refund. It worked for me.

if the engine hasent changed in 2003 the 02,01,00 rt engine should be the same any of the parts should work check first though.

THATS WHAT I THOUGHT TOO SO I SET JET PERFORMANCE AN E-MAIL ON THEYRE PULLEYS AND THEY SAID NO,NOW THIS COULDVE JUST BEEN SOME COMPUTER GEEK THAT DONT KNOW HIS BUTT FROM A HOLE IN THE GROUND SO IF ANY ONE TRULY KNOWS OF WHERE TO FIND UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS FOR THE 2003 CC/R/T LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS ALOT
