Subject: crank cast vent connector IP: Logged
Message: ive got a 03 R/T and snaped the connecter piece were the crank case vent hose hooks into the valve cover(i belive its called the pcv valve) but i cant figure how to get it out of the valve cover, it seems to be stuck in there even when i pry on it. Can anyone help? thanks

Message: you probably did what i did the first time i changed my pcv valve. on the 5.2 (and i think the 5.9 also) the pcv valve is on the passenger side, but there is a hose coming out of the driver side that looks identical. i snapped that piece off thinking it was the pcv valve cuz ididn't look before hand. the actualy pcv valve should come out quite easily with a twist and a tug.

Message: I did the same thing.. Goto your local parts store. They will have a replacement. My not be exact, but it works.
