Message: thats sounds like a plan to me.. i ordered the H.O. cams form the dealer i use to work at and they cost me $100 apiece. thats my discounted price. i think that with the mods i have now, the cams should make more power and torque, hopefully i will be able to tell a difference. by the way, what mods do u have?? and did u know that there are 2 different 4.7s in the jeep which means there are 2 sets of cams avaliable that fit the 03-04 dakota

Message: Yep Jeep used both versions of the 4.7L, non ho and ho. Make sure you didn't get the non ho cams as they will be identical to the ones you already have.
02 Dakota Sport reg cab/ short bed 4.7 auto 2wd
Air aid full cold air kit
70mm BBK throttle body
Gibson headers
Spintech true dual 2 1/2in exhaust with 2 cats and 2 mufflers
Superchip tuner
Richmond 4.56 gears
Powertrax No-Slip locker
Home made ladder links similar to CalTracs
27x8.00-15 Goodyear circle track slicks (they were free and they seem to hook pretty good!)
Before the slicks and ladder links my best et was: 14.21 @ 96 mph with a 2.3 60ft the 60ft was low due to traction issues NOT AND I REPEAT NOT due to low torque because of my so called huge exhaust. Before the slicks i could roast the 255-70-15 BFG Radial T/As just by stomping it off the line. I can pretty much plant and go now with the slicks, so I can't wait to see my new times the first time i can get to the track this year.

Message: thats pretty quick for an almost stock truck. i think that my truck may be slower due to being a club cab, and i made sure that i ordered the H.O. cams. i also have 16 in. aluminum rims, that may make me a few tenths slower as well. but if u compare the stock units to the krc website with the 202 cams their cams put the vehicle in the high 13s. maybe nothing to be concerned about but i will have to try it and see
