Message: 1992 and 1996 engine computers are different. '92-'93 exhaust manifolds were 1/4" larger inside diameter.

Message: Use all the bolt-ons (including intake and exhaust) from the '92. The '96 will not be quite as punchy since the cam timing was dialed back a little after '92. Course, you could always use the '92's cam, but if you're gonna do that, you might as well get an even better cam.

Message: dude, the 96 isnt gonna be any better than the 92. the only differences between the engines is the 96 uses a OBD2 computer which comtrolls the transmission if its automatic. the 92 uses OBD1. the exhaust is different 2. its a retarded swap.
