hey guys. i have a problem with my 99 dakota sport with a 5.2 in it. its an auto transmission and when i drive downt he road and usually when i hit a little bump the rpms increase by a couple hundred and then go back down and it drives me crazy. it usually only does it when warm and then i also have a problem becuase when it gets below maybe 3-5 degrees here and i start my truck in the morning it wont shift into overdrive until it warms up a bit. any ideas? i have heard a tps sensor would fix my surge but what about the non shift? plenty of fluid and its nice and red and no problems. thansk alot!

Trans will not go into OD until the trans temp gets up to (I think) 45 degrees.

The surge may be a wire problem?
