That's actually a great setup if you want a fast near stock Dakota. RC, 4.7, and good gears with LSD.
Sounds like an R/T killer. Oooh. Maybe I should not have said that. But just saying if someone wanted to buy their first Dakota that would be a good one. I assumed that was a manual trans, but maybe he meant the 5 spd auto which is pretty good too.

I think the 5-spd auto came out in '02 or '03. I can second the "fun factor" of a '01 4.7 5-spd manual 3:92 LSD :) An SRT-10 is an adequate replacement, however LOL.

It is a manual. I forgot the auto was a 5 speed too. But not until '02. Anyway, the truck was alot of fun but I found a RC SRT-10 and it is a LOT more fun. I need to sell my Dakota ASAP or I will be sleeping in the SRT-10.

if only i had the money. i would rather have an srt-10 and sleep in it, than to not have one and sleep in a bed.
