I need to replace my muffler on my 93 5.2L 4x4. I can buy a flowmaster 40 series muffler cheaper than I can buy the factory replacement. does anyone know the Diameter of the pipe going into the muffler and the pipe leaving the muffler?
I just thought I would try here before I take the exhaust apart.

I had a '92 5.2 RC once. The diameter following the catalytic converter is 3", the tailpipe is 2 1/2" diameter. Your '93 has the best exhaust manifolds ever on a 5.2: 1/4" larger inside diameter ('92-'93). Flowmaster sound goes: 40=loudest, 50=milder, 70=less interior resonance.
