iv'e got a 99 5.2l magenum 5-speed and want to do the exhaust. what size y-pipe should i go with? i'm going 3'' single with a 3'' cat out the back. muffler i'm open to suggestions and will the o2 after the cat get hot enough to work right?

I upped my head pipe to 2" and had a custom Y pipe made going into a 3" main pipe, a CarSound cat, a FloPro muffler and 3" single out the back. It sounds awesome, quiet when I'm just tooling around and authoritative when I'm on the gas!

The o2 sensor depends.I have seen high flow cats cause the check engine light to come on,and some don't.If it does you can get a o2 simmulator from thefastman.com $75.This works good.I dont have a cat on my 99 5.2,and the light hasn't come on yet.
