I want to run long tubes and an off road Y pipe but i still need to run a cat of some kind to hopefully pass inspection. Also do they make long tubes especially for dakotas if they do i didnt find any and if they do then link me please thanks!

Try southeast performance. They have long tube headers for the dakota. Talk to John he is a good guy. I remeber him telling me that they were based off of the 97 Dak. KRC Has them also. Make sure you are sitting down when you look at the price,because they are not cheep. But if you buy them from southeast you get more than just the headers. I don't know if KRC is the same or not. I still need to know if ram long tubes will fit the 5.2 dak because i can get those for $280 the only long tubes i found for the dakota are extremely expensive, does anybody have an answer?

Well, if they fit the Dakota, wouldn't they be called Ram/Dakota long tube headers ?

I would just suggest taking measurements. The Rams are bigger, so in turn, they are going to have more room in them.
