I didn't say that prices would go down.... I said I was going to break even after selling 5 kits. In other words - I'll be putting out a whole bunch of labor and still gambling with a good portion of my own money and not making anything on the initial bunch. After that I plan on being compensated for all of the labor, R&D, installation/owners manuals, parts chasing and general headache of keeping on top of everything. Who knows.... the price might go up if the kits are a hit! I priced it where it's at to get the ball rolling. I'll still be fighting the same battles over parts runs for the next batch. The machine shops will still charge for set-ups and want to machine bunches of parts instead of 1 or 2. After the initial run the machine shops could raise their prices..... everything else goes up in price lately. There's no way the price will go down, there's also no guarantee that the price won't go up.
I think this is THE mod for the 4.7s if you are interested in going fast. I couldn't stand the idea of waiting for performance mods, so I made my own. I'm always willing to share whatever info I've learned about making the 4.7 go fast with anyone who's willing to wade thru my long-winded posts to get it. I've gotten astounding performance out of the 4.7 with this mod and I'm willing to share that also..... but not if it's going to come out of my own pocket. I'm willing to put in the time and effort to get it started, but I fully intend for it to be profitable at some point in time. Only a fool would spend countless hours building stuff for other people and not expect some sort of reward for it at some time. I'm a nice guy, but I'm not an idiot! hehehe
If it turns out that I don't get this off the ground - that's OK with me too. I've already got MY boost.
So I guess it's time to ask the question one more time.....
Who's willing to put their money down on a kit?

You better make some bank on these kits, I wouldn't expect any less! It's a good idea, why not make it profitable.
You have me down for a for sure %50.

How long between the exchange of the 50% down-payment can you deliver?
Will you provide/sign a legal contract, to protect customer interests? Like if stuff doesn't go as planned with the kits....Refunds!

Welllll... I too have been debating over a turbo or supercharger. I built a turbo system once and swore I would have one for every vehicle I own. It was that good! I'm not saying I'm #5 but your getting my engine warm...
