Message: I know ive seen previous post on this problem on the 4.7 dakota. But does anyone know why when im comming to a stop and when its fixing to cut off, i rapidly put it on neutral and it idles back to normal and doesnt cut off.
Another problem im having is when excelarating the truck hesitates to shift. Normally around 2500-3000 rpms.
any help will be appreciated
By the way my truck is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Qaud Cab, with a 4.7

Message: have you serviced the tranny lately? it sounds like the torque is staying in lock up. that would explain why it stays idleing when you shift to neutral.

Message: The truck is also under more load from the transmission being in gear wether the converter is locked up or not.
