Message: I have a 2000 Club Cab 4.7 and I have Toyo Open Country ATs on it. They don't work that great in the snow and I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions regarding a brand and model of tire that will work better in the snow but give a decent tread life. I have 31x10.5x15 tires.

Message: If your willing to spend the cash for a great tire then buy Michelin XCX/APT I have a set on my 99 4X4 and I feel like I'm glued to the road in any weather. As for tread life--- I have 70,000 miles on the set and I'll get another 20,000 or 30,000 miles out of them before they need to be replaced. Keep in mind that I NEVER spin the tires at red lights, I check the pressure once a week, and I stay on pavement 90% of the time. After what I spent on them, I can't find it in me to beat on them. But RAIN-SNOW I never get stuck.

Message: I use Michelin LTX M/S. Best all around tire I'v ever used. Got me through some really nasty weather.
I'v got around 45K miles on mine, with plenty of tread left. I check the presure fairly often, and rotate regularly.
