Wow you must be even harder on the GO pedal than i am! Mine got around 18mpg before i switched to 4.56 gears but even with them i still get over 15mpg. You didn't say what cab you had but mine is a reg cab short bed 2wd, if you have a club or quad cab you should expect that number to be a little different than mine. But going to the 3.55s will definately make a difference for the better.

What rear end do you have: 8.25, or 9.25?
If you have the 9.25 i will sell you my stock 3.55s if you will sell me your stock 3.92s. Call it a trade of sorts.
If you're interested let me know

IN GEAR SWAP.

With that small of a change, you probably won't see any improvement in mileage at all. Some people have reported better mileage with lower gears, because the engine is in it's power band more.

What kind of driving you're doing should depict the changes. If it's all high speed highway, then it might be worth it. If it's all around town and low speeds, then stick with the gears you have.
