I lately had my keyless entry stop working. Electric locks works fine, and yes I changed the batteries in my remote. I'm not sure where the receiver is located in the truck, and it is factory installed. I even went as far as disconnecting the battery for the truck to see if it is a glitch, but no luck. Can anyone tell me what else I can do to get it to start working again. One added note, it has given me problems other times, but only in severe cold, but that was a long time ago. Help....

you probably need to re-program the remote. the instructions are rpobably in the FSM. dealers do it for between 50 and 75 bucks or could buy instructions online for about $9.95.

good luck

It's intergrated into the CTM (Central Timer Module) - it's to the right of the glovebox under the dash. They are known for causing issues with condensation and/or humidity (fixed in the superceded CTM's).

DRB required to program the remotes.
