230 h.p./4800 rpm and 280 ft-lb/3200 rpm according to the window sticker off my old 93. It was a $1,118 option to get the v-8 on a 2wd RC and the 4-speed auto was a required option that year as well for the v-8 (it was $897 more). Total MSRP on that bad boy LE was a wopping $15,819 which is more then you'd have to pay for a 4.7 5-speed today, but there are better rebates now.

i think 91's were rated at 180hp don't know the torque. Those TBI units certainly didn't lend themselves to horsepower.

The 91 was pre-magnum. It had more emission stuff on the front, bad heads, weak cam, low compression, and the above mentioned TBI. There is a lot of power to be gained on a 91 318!

I just found out that the motor came out of a 95 Ram. So I guess it would have a little more power.

I had a '91 LE (Premagnum) Dakota CC. That engine is a standard LA-318, with throttle body FI. Engine was rated at 175 hp, or 143-145 hp at the rear wheels. The Magnum 3.9L V6 put out roughly the same HP when it was introduced.
MPG range was 16-17 at best.

They have the info you need on pretty much anything MOPAR.
I had a 1993 Dakota 5.2, it was an LE club cab 2wd with the 3.92 LSD rear end and slushbox.
I got it in 1997 with only 26,000 miles on the odometer. lol Sold it with only 37000 on the odometer!
