Message: Flowmasters suck! threw mine in the trash, I have Magnaflows on my 4.7 Durango and Dakota R/T, both sound ballsy, and have helped improve performance.

Message: there are sound clips on the Flowmaster website,
the 'series 70' sounds pretty much like the one I have on my truck. (4.7l, DI/DO)
you may have to click twice for the sound clips to play.

Message: I got number 15877, SIDO stainless steel. Sounds awesome on light and full throttle, barely louder than stock inside the truck at idle. Not for anybody who's looking to rattle windows but ideal for those who want good sound when they're in the mood to push it and quiet cruising. Won't work that great with some aftermarket hitches though.

Message: I have a 40 series Flowmaster on my 2000 R/T. Sounds excellent. I'm due for a replacement so I'm probably going with the 50 Series to cut down on the in-cab noise. I want to be able to hear my music and cell phone better.

Message: I have had the 50 and later, the 70 series on my '01 4.7. The sound out the tips is nearly the same, but the interior resonance is much lower with the 70 series. If you do a lot of highway miles, get the 70. The 50 is 16" long, the 70 is 22".

Message: I agree with motorsport. I run a 50 on my 4.7 and people notice the truck without being annoyed by it. I,ll be moving to the 70 to reduce the interior noise in the future.

Message: run the flomaster 40 series delta flow. LOW cab resonance, but sounds ballsy outside.

Message: no. just go to any exhaust shop. would cost about 70 bucks for the muffler. just tell them what you need, size, duals, etc.
