is there some type of auxillery fan, that will help keep the engine cooler, when towing a travel trailer during the summer months, right now my engine runs a little warm when climbing hills. i tow with OD off. my dak is 4.7 4*4 auto. with a 3.55 gearing. i plan on going back to these same spots next summer.

When you have your engine running, and shut it off, does your engine fan keep spinning for 4+ seconds? If so you might first try replacing the fan clutch unit. I had the same problem, only a little worse. I could hear the fan roar when it got hot, but it wouldn't turn on early enough. I haven't had any problems since.

If you are running warm while at speed, there is nothing that an extra fan can do for you.

If you do the math, you will probably find, that even with a monster fan, you will only get a wind speed equivalent to 20 mph. So esentially, the fan stops being effective once you get over 20 mph.

If you are running hot, there could be other issues. But as you describe, its only when you are climbing hills, so most likely, its just that your engine is making more heat than the radiator can get rid of.

Do you have A/C? if so, I'd be willing to bet that if you turn it off while climbing the hills, you will solve your problem.

If its really an issue, you will most likely have to invest in a more efficient radiator.
