Without looking it up I'd say probably; although with a QC you may be very near or over the limit - which I think is a little under rated for our trucks. Definitely make sure you have good tongue weight (don't load it backwards); and make sure you have trailer brakes. If the trailer has electric brakes, you'll need a brake controler - the tow package includes a pig tail to make that easy to install. It would be best to look it up; you'll need to know what gears your truck has for that.

I have an '01 QC, 4x4, tow package and 5.9 engine. I tow that weight at high altitude pretty often without any troubles at all.

It will pull it easy. But like the other guys said, make sure it has the weigh balanced and trailer brakes if possible but I've towed that much without the brakes.

I have noticed that when towing a car on a single axle trailer, while it had plenty of power, I could not go too fast or sway was a problem.

I tow a 7700 Lb Toy Hauler with mine and about 200 miles when going to the dunes. A good sway control and electric brakes makes it handle pretty well. just need mirror extensions on our Daks :P

Sometimes you just need more tongue weight on a single axle trailer; I've towed some pretty fast. Weight should be balnced with more toward the tongue to avoid sway.

I'd guess from that description it has a 3.55 axle. A 3.92 makes a world of difference.

I tow about a 4,000 lb. (total weight) boat and trailer with my 2000 QC with the 4.7 but the 3.55 gears. The power definitely sucks a bit on the highway and I smoked the front brakes going down a hill (with 5 adults in the cab) before fixing the trailer brakes to work properly.
