would like to know if my 2000 4*4 dak,4.7 auto 3.55 gears. would except a larger raditor(one that comes with the towing package?) reason when i tow my travel trailer 4500lbs. i am on the high side. during the summer, my engine temp gets a little high 235' or so when climbing the passes in wa/idaho. with the a/c off, and i am out of OD. but on the flats and small hills temp runs around 210' plus or minus a few degrees. or would a auxilary fan like a black magic of some sort keep my engine temp at a comfortable level.

Yes the "max cool" radiator will work. I did this to my 2000 4.7L durango and it resolved all of my temp issues.

Check out this thread where I detail the answer to the exact question you pose here. Simple fix. I wish I had done it sooner...

What's your left foot doing?
