Message: after i install my 180 t-stat on my 2002 4.7 how do i bleed the cooling system. thanks for all your guy's and girl's help.

Message: I just remove cap and fill slowly, start truck let run and fill again, till it is full, install cap, make sure resevoir is at full line on stick also. drive for a while, let cool and remove cap check again. top off if needed, check resevoir also. Good luck.

Message: I did the same thing. Just as Kevster with no problems. Just let the engine idle after filling as much as you can thru the cap. The air will bleed out thru the open cap. Take plenty of time and check everything after a drive when everything cools down.
