That question is not as simple as you might think - which v-8, and what other mods have you done ? What do you mean by rods - are you looking at a stroker set up ? Might be better to say which motor, and ask what are the best mods.

sorry kowalski..i meant rocker arms , or fuel injectors. its a 98 V8 dakota (magnum)
mods..pcm module, headers, intake , exhaust, engine kit, bored out T.B, and bored out manifold. ..now what are my best mods? my previous question still stands. but i meant rocker arms instead of rods.

what do you actually want to use the truck for?
towing?
racing?
daily driver?

it all depends what you what to use it for and how much money can you spend doing it.

fast, cheap or reliable? pick 2 because you can't have all 3.

Dodge calls all their engines 'Magnum'.
What size engine you got?

"its a work truck , commuter" . with the info you provided and if funds are not a problem, boost that sucker! turbo or s/c. not easy or cheap but if done right, can make a ton of power and be very reliable. do plenty of research before spending a penny.

you said you wanted fast & reliable, not cheap so be prepared!

I believe you'd see more gains with the high ratio rockers, unless you have other mods to support the extra fuel from an injector change.
