i saw a 5.2 dakota sport today 5spd only mod is a differential locker wheelie stand set the front down stand up again after slowing down from burning first second and third getting some ruber in fourth and fith. i have a 5.2 auto 2wd im thinking about looking for one of those.

Someone is pulling your leg. If the engine really is stock, then it's a jumping jack. If it isn't stock, to date I have not seen nor heard of a Dakota doing this with any engine. Let the flame glow brite

no offense but i highly doubt that throtle body will make my truck have that muck more power.i believe they work but i doubt to the extent people claim.

ok, i knew someone would call me out on the performance results of the throttle body spacer. Adam, youre right about the fact that the spacer will not allow a dakota to pull wheelstands. but the following is the truth. there are these "$20 resistors" available on ebay. they will, and can make a 4000lb dakota pull wheelstands. go for it!

If you know the resistor value, you can get them MUCH cheaper than that just by going to Radioshack.
You want one for:
Intake Air temp
Coolant temp
MAP
That's how the Jet chip works.

no the resistor is a little wire you plug into the air temp sender it has nothin to do with a blower "supercharger"

How the hell has this thread gone on this long? The resistor is just to trick your comp into thinking your engine is running colder than it really is so it adds more fuel to warm it up. Same effect as moving your IAT from the intake manifold and putting it about 6" away from the TB in your intake tube. Word of advice...if you see something on TV or even on the net and they say your going to gain 10-15 hp...try maybe like 3 or 4 at most. Most things dont even help out with your gimmick bold ons (ex: TB Spacer). As for the wheelie crap... you see that video? OBIO3 was right on his first post.

i watched him do it its for real no mods just rear tires and some traction and its a 95 dakota sport 318 2 wd 5 spd and it pulls the wheels about 2 feet in the air and if he bounces it it gets em rite skyward
