At 1k i noticed a vibration when I braked. Took it to dealer. They resurfaced the drums and sanded the pads. All was well until 5k. It started again. The dealership ordered new drums. After they were installed the vibration was worse. The new drums were warped. They put the old drums back on and are in contact with Chrysler to see what next step is. This seems to be a problem with this particular truck. Was wondering if any who had this same problem ever got it fixed and what was the solution.

I wouldn't worry about it other then it's a pain taking it in. Just do not let them tell you to live with it. They have to fix your truck. Don't know how many trys but at some point the lemon law comes into the game . Then they get one more chance to make it right. Just hang in there. It will get fixed. Be sore you keep all paper work. If they give you none, ASK FOR IT.. INSIST that you get paperS WITH DATES.

lemon law... after taking the vehicle back to the dealer 3 times back to back for the same problem then that law comes into play... your brake issue is due to the drums wrapping.... if dodge was smart enough the new drums they put on they would have turned them once they discovered they were wrapped... common repair is to clean up the shoes turn drums and adjust properly and be ready to go..... if problem still re-occurs then replace drums... then if new ones agian warp then there is problem in the rear brakes causeing the drums to get excessively hot and the heat build up cause them to warp... most likely bad valving for the rear brakes causeing to much fluid line pressure making the rear brakes work harder then needed...
