 Subject: Window Regulator

I walked outside the other day and noticed that my window was halfway down. I clearly remember not rolling it down the previous day. Come to find out it will not roll up or down. I push on the window slightly and it slides all the way down into my door. I take it to the dealership and they said that the regulator cable has snapped and it would cost around $400 to get it fixed. anybody else have this happen to them? this sucks.....

hasnt happened to me but seen it.... its just basicly due to someone's bright idea to use a cable operated regulator to cut back on moving arms in the door to make way for design of speaker location and door release rods for the latch assembly.... plus if nothing broke then how would dodge make money... LOL
