Message: I have a 2000 CC 4x4 4.7L auto. I was towing my 3,000 lb pontoon back from the lake today and the truck seemed to be running hotter than normal (81 outside) and losing power on hills. I cut off the AC and it helped some, but still didn't seem to be straining to pull the boat up hills. I didn't have any more weight than normal. Any thought's as to the power loss?
