 Subject: ball joint

A little problem with the lower ball joint. Ive done them before, its just that theres this metal plate on top the ball joint . Im not sure4 how it comes out or if its part of the joint. I dont want to distroy it if it a single peice cause I dont have a replacement Can anybody help?

Never mind I got it. It was part of the ball joint a grinder took care of it and the joint just poped out Well thanks anyway
