Well i'm one for more GO than SHOW. So I'd spend the money on the motor first. As for power---let the motor breath better and you'll make more power. Go for a port and polish job on the heads an intake also put true dual exaust with headers. These mods will improve power without making the truck a garage queen that needs you to be under the hood every weekend tending to her needs adjusting this and that.

sounds like a good i dea thanks ive been pondering headers and dual exhoust and an intake but i never gave the heads a though. you can bolt up 360 heads to that would you recamend that or just have the 318 heads done up right
or do the same to the 360s ??

Go with what you got. If you start messing with bigger stuff, you'll find yourself needing to upgrade other parts as well----where will it end. Only jokeing. I say keep it simple, those mods will get you the power you want without the worries. Hope this helps.
