Subject: Headlight question.. IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone who has installed projector style headlamps with clear corners had this problem.
I had mistakenly purchased two complete sets of these and after a numerous times of trying to contact PRO CAR PARTS with no response, I just decided to keep them. anyway, the driver side, the whole thing fogs up inside. I took them off the truck and tried to see if they had any cracks of somehting to let moisture in them and the seem to be okay, so I tried the driver side from the other set that I mistakenly purchased and I have the same problem. Bad casting, Maybe. does anyone hace any suggestions, besides telling me I got ripped off?

Message: I bought new, replacement headlights for a 1994 Dak, and had the same moisture problem.
The headlights are very similar to OEM, but not 100%.
First I tried sealing the back and sides with spray sealer stuff... no good.
I blocked the drain hose and that fixed it.

Message: PRO CAR PARTS are a bunch a crooks. I had the exact same problem with mine and they coulda cared less. Anyway, find the smallest drill bit and drill a hole in the bottom of the headlight houseing. I've been moisture free for two years now.
