Message: This is no lie, I have 125,000 on original rear linings on my 99 cc. The fronts were due at 75,000 and were replaced with powerslot rotors and hawk pads. For the most part, I'm easy on my brakes. There's measures you can take to prolong brake life.

Message: On my 3rd set of front rotors on my 04 Quad Cab, 2nd set of pads. 1st and second set of rotors were replaced due to warping, 1st set of pads were still fine when replaced at 45000 miles but I figured might as well since I was getting rotors.
I have never touched my rear breaks and they are still fine. These trucks are front heavy with the bigger engines plus most weight transfers over the front wheels when braking. The front rotors are extremely weak so you will be going through one set of front rotors after another until you go aftermarket. On the other hand there's really very little weight over the rear in braking so rear brakes stand up pretty well.
