Same thing just happened to me. Google showed up Dakota Fan Problem
Seems to be a common problem with the resister pack. Going to pick one up today.

HEY GUYS. it defintately is the resistor... Dodge parts counter guy here w/ previous chevy experience and both brands have problems w/ resistors burning up and only allowing fan speed on high setting to work....

Just wanted to let you know, got the resister card from the dealer this morning. Cost me $18 and change and about five minutes work after I found the right socket (8mm by the way) Worked like a charm. They changed the design. Don't know if it was because of them burning out or if it was cheaper. It does seem to be a little heftier.
