 Subject: Trouble code P0720

Speed Sensor Curcuit malfunction. I have a 99 4x4 Dakota with the 5.2L engine. Auto trans. Everything seems to operating fine but my check engine light is on and Autozone checked my codes for me and told me it was P0720 Speed sensor malfunction. What do I do? Can I change out the sensor? Should I reset the codes first? Any other suggestions?

I would reset the ECM and run it and if it resets the code again, just change out the speed sensor.
