anyone think installing ho cams on the 4.7 will put stress on other parts of the engine causing decreased reliabilty or a shorter life? Does anything else need to be replaced when doing this conversion? Plan on having my '02 dak for a long time, don't want to do nothing that might hurt my baby

They'll put about as much stress on your engine as they already put on the engines in the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Thats my point. The Ho 4.7 in the Grand Cherokee have various other upgrades adding to the strength specifically rather than just power. I was wondering if it was necessary to add more strength to the 4.7 like what was down to the HO version simply because of the cams
