 Subject: help with 4wd

Ive got a 98 quad cab 4x4 Ram with 102,000 miles on it. When I go to engage it in 4Hi or 4Low it engages and runs great until I have to turn sharper and then the truck tires act like they are gonna lock up and the truck will jerk a little. What could be the problem here?? Its only happens when I turn the tires, thanks!

You are not supposed to drive it on dry pavement in four wheel drive.The wheels have to slip a bit when you go around curves. Could break something on dry pavement turning corners. Dan
