Subject: Belly pan gasket IP: Logged
Message: I know my belly pan is leaking, I can see oil on the pan and it uses oil (Going to order the kit from Hughes in a while). Have any of you guys experenced a loss of mileage when the pan leaks ?

Message: The billet kit from hughes is a real good deal. it comes complete with the gasket and new bolts all you need is blue loctite and a set of manifold gaskets all for about $72. Yes your mileage will suffer with a leaky gasket.

Message: Damn right there's a loss of MPG. I picked up 3mpg on the highway replacing my bad belly pan. Get the hughes kit.

Message: Kinda thought so, I just ordered the kit from Hughes. That will be next weeks porject.
There is a lot of oil in there...that cant be good...lol
